Hey, I haven't updated because my computer is not in service. I think the battery is dead (huge bummer), and I probably won't be able to get it fixed until I come back to California. In January. I'm not sure what day we are leaving. It will be a surprise!

Anywho, I am in Nashville right now at Holiday Inn. Evan and I are here visiting his brother Chris and his wife Heather. They took us to Istanbul. Its a restaurant, its not in Turkey. We ate some falafel that made us really sick last night and this morning. I don't even want to think about it. Bleh.

Evan and I agree that Nashville isn't really where its at. Its all right, but I like the mountains and trees in Newport much better, even if there isn't much to do.

We're going to try to find an indian restaurant that seems to be hidden from us, and hopefully we won't get sick again. Wish me luck!

Sorry no pictures this time. I have a ton from the Knoxville zoo, but I can't upload them. I'm tired and I still feel icky.

By the way, my email address is hahoowopner@gmail.com
I know its weird but its this idea I've been working on for awhile...so deal with it. It keeps me focused. Kinda.

I love you guys! Until next time!

Oh yeah, this is Basil. He is the puppy Evan got me when I flew into Knoxville. I asked for a real puppy. What a RIP OFF. No I am only kidding, I love Basil, and I named him Basil because no one will let me name any of my future children that. Its too "gay" I guess. Basil has a birth certificate on the refrigerator.

We're in Knoxville,TN right now. We're having coffee at Java, its really relaxing. I was going to take a picture of the Sun Sphere, but it got dark too fast. I hear its full of wigs.

This post is short because I am boring Evan, and we need to look at craigslist, or something. I'm going to learn how to make Vegan Carrot Cake like the ones they sell here.

I have a new hobby: decorating match boxes and match books with sharpies, magazine clips, and cut out drawings. Look out for christmas, it may be the only thing I can afford to give anyone this year.

Bye you guys! Oh I got a purple sweater today. End of update.

Tell my wife, "Hello."

A few days ago, Evan took me to Waterville because I was getting cabin fever and wanted to walk around in the woods and look at a creek. He showed me this big fireplace just sitting in the forest, it was huge! See those big white quartz stones? Someone put a lot of work into this thing. I want to attach a home to it. Its right next to the creek. We sat on it for a long time, and yelled into the chimney.

We didn't end up going to Asheville that night for BBS and Do May Say Think. Bummer, but we were both tired and need to save money. Now none of you have any reason to be jealous, except for I woke up this morning to a wintry, frosted ground, and everything was wrapped up in fog. Such a lovely sight. Does the desert look nice right now? Is it cold? Has it snowed? Do you think it will? I hope it snows soon here, I want to take pictures! I'm sick of taking pictures of Evan and Tonka. Boooring.

Pookbuns (Tara) called me the other day and we talked for an hour and 10 mins! Thanks, Tara! That conversation was much needed and you need to come to Asheville! If anyone else wants to call me, you should. I am usually not doing much, especially during the day time on the days Evan has work. In fact, I would drop anything I am doing to talk to any of you. I mostly sleep, eat cereal, listen to records, and watch movies. Then I wait impatiently for Evan to get home so we can go outside. If you want my number ask me for it. Or ask someone else for it. Or, you can send me an email to hahoowopner@gmail.com. Or, myspace. Whatever. If you have something urgent to say, I suggest calling me or text messaging me, as you can tell I don't get to Gatlinburg often to use the internet. I don't like coming here that much because sitting in a lobby for 8 hours is a little boring. Luckily my friends have posted several comments and have sent me plenty of messages to occupy about...20 mins. Thanks.

I feel bad for not voting. But not that bad because things went well.
Dad I don't think you read this, but if you are reading, I liked that painting you e-mailed me. I want you to paint one of Max Patch for me...this picture:

Mom, send me soap. No tallow. Dylan...doesn't read this. Someone tell Dylan to send me my books and dvds.

Anyway, a couple of picture in pictures section. Not many. More to come. Bye!

I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether.

We watched Waynes World 2 twice in one week. I took pictures while watching it the first time. This is a classic scene.

Yesterday Evan and I went to Asheville again, and ate at yet another vegetarian restaurant called The Laughing Seed. It was pricier than Rosetta's Kitchen, and both of the sandwiches we got tasted the same. Don't get me wrong, the Tempecado and Hempseed Burger were delicious, but they were just as good as Rosetta's sandwiches, but they were blander and more expensive. Is blander a word? More bland. There.

Asheville was really cold. I had to wear two sweaters under my coat, and a really awesome/silly hat that I haven't taken pictures of yet. Oh I will. I promise I will. I need to go to Wal-Mart and get some thermal underwear. Tonight we're going back to Asheville to see Broken Social Scene and Do May Say Think at The Orange Peel. Its a pretty small looking place, I think this is going to be a good show. I hope we can talk Jacob and Kia into going with us...and driving their car.

Speaking of Asheville, we're looking for apartments this week. Its pretty cheap there, and we keep going there all the time anyway, its a cute little town, and people are really nice there. Except that one bum, but we didn't run into him yesterday. We're kinda tired of living in Evan's aunt's trailer. Its a nice trailer home...as far as trailer homes go.

This is a picture of Evan and his awesome dog Tonka. Tonka is so cool. He's well behaved and smells good. Don't tell Chewee, she might get jealous. Tell Chewee I miss her and love her. Thanks!

Well, this is going to be short...because I haven't done much this week and I'm getting sleepy. I am at work with Evan again, and my favorite thing to do while he is working is sleeping in the car all day. Right now I am sitting in the lobby and there are weirdo lawyers everywhere for a conference. Drinking their coffee, wearing their ties, being all lawyery (also not a word).

Bye bye, I love yous.

Sorry its been a week!

Hi everyone. I'm in Gatlinburg, TN right now using the high-speed internet at Evan's work (Holiday Inn). I have been sitting in the lobby next to the fireplace, cozy and warm. I bet people think I am doing homework, or maybe they think I'm on important business trip. Nope, I don't have a job, I am just blogging!

Here are some pictures of some things I've been doing. The first picture is Evan. His friend Jacob came over and the three of us played with construction paper. We made moustaches, as you can tell. I made a fang, that picture is in here somewhere. That's my Halloween costume, by the way. It was either that, or Gangsta Walrus. That is a picture for some other time. Its on my phone so I can't upload it! Evan says hi to everyone. He is also kind of offended that all of you assume I am dead.

In Asheville, NC (a freaking awesome city, comparable to San Francisco only cozier) there are a lot of bums. One bum stole a hat from a store and asked us if we had a cigarette. Then he got in trouble for taking the hat, then he chased Evan and I down the block. It was a funny adventure. Also, they have these cool cat sculptures on walls and lamp posts. I didn't take many pictures in Asheville. We ate at a pretty dang good vegan restaurant called Rosetta's. If you're ever in Asheville and you want good food, go there. Even if you think vegans are fags, the food is pretty much to die for. Same with Tomato Head (another Vegan restaurant) in Knoxville, TN. Yeah.

Last night, Jacob and Kia (friends of Evan's) took Evan and I to Max Patch in North Carolina. They view was breathtaking. The weather was nice too. We thought it would be cold, but it turned out to be actually pretty warm and I didn't need my jacket. Exciting.

Also at Max Patch, I told Evan to tackle Jacob and Kia. Mostly this just looks like a band photo. Like they're Peter Paul and Mary or something. They wish. I am going to catch up on some web comics. I may upload video later if I have nothing to do. Evan keeps coming up to me to say hi while he's supposed to be working. I hope he does not get in trouble on account of me. A lady is mopping the lobby and she keep smiling at me. That's how nice people are here.

So long, until next time I decide to wake up before 7:00am to catch a ride to Gatlinburg with Evan. I love you guys!

The Triflin' Hoedown!

That was a weird going away party! It was a lot of fun, and also completely silly.

More pictures by Nico here, if you're interested.

'T is vegetation's juggler...

Oh, and in the bathroom I made up a poem of the things I saw:

Does the fly upon the mirror
See thousands upon thousands
Of his eye?

Does the ant who crawls the toilet paper
Feel the cushy softness
Of 2-ply?

That's all I got you guys.

Slow Moe

Evan called me in the middle of my drawing. I almost gave up on the poor sloth, but he insisted I show him whatever came out of it. "Slow Moe" was pretty much his idea. So, I drew him a picture of a tree (the one on the right) because he likes trees, and we were talking about them earlier today. I went a little crazy with the filters, but I think it looks cool.

This isn't exactly what I want "Slow Moe" to look like. I want it to be more cartoony than this sloppy piece of crap. I think I'll spend my entire day looking at sloths on google images, and practice drawing them. I'll even draw some three-toed sloths, with mean faces. Perhaps I'll write a story about the bacteria that grows on their backs, with realistic looking sloths and little cartoon bacteria. Kind of like Osmosis Jones. That's a kinda cool movie, if you haven't seen it.

In other exciting news, Samantha McCarthy (long time friend and future president of the United States) just sent me a link to our High School Principal Dick Sauer's personal website. It is pretty ridiculous: Good Ol' Dick Sauers
The reason the right lense of his glasses is darker is because he is missing that eye. He was nice I guess, but he creeped me out.

This must be boring for everyone who isn't me.

Kirsten has generously offered to let me use her dwelling to say goodbye to some of you folks. On Friday! I'll keep you updated via livejournal, since none of you are reading this anyway. I promise it will be more exciting when I am gone.

Thank you, Daniel for letting me borrow your battery charger. Thank you everyone who is making me mix cds. Thank you, computer for being a laptop and having 2 weeks of music on you for me to listen to on the plane. Thank you, Airplane for letting me board you to go see some places I've never been to, not to mention letting me see the lovely and talented Evan Hurley. Please don't crash, okay?

Take a seat on my head!

X-mas in October

Hey mom, thanks for buying me new socks and underwear for my trip! Now I can finally throw away my "Day of the Week" Spongebob underwear you bought me for Christmas...about 3 years ago. Good riddance. Also, thanks for getting coffee with me, and buying me yummy vegan food. You're one cool cat, ma.

If anyone else wants to buy me underwear and socks, I would be delighted. Those are some of my favorite new things to get. Number one new thing to get would probably be jeans. I'm gonna go to Kirsten's house to steal a jacket from her roommate Katie. She stole the jacket from her landlord, so its only fair.

Tennessee's a brother to my sister Carolina

I am stealing this idea from Bret, because its a good one! While I am away in Tennessee, or wherever I may go, I will update this blog with pictures and juicy details of my travels! It will be fun and you will enjoy it! This is better than livejournal because I write really sarcastic/mean/gross things in there that only my friends think are funny. Well, only Risa usually but that counts. This will be a PG-13 rated blog!

My flight leaves on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 11:55PM from Ontario. I will arrive in Atlanta, GA at 6:30AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, and my flight leaves from there at 9:08AM. I will arrive in Knoxville, TN at 10:55AM. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but Evan and I plan on taking a Greyhound back to California once his grandpa is a little better. It will be a long and uncomfortable ride back, but we both think it will be really cool to stop in different cities along the way. We can't wait to travel together for real, so this will be good practice!

Also, this weekend will be my "hillbilly" going away party. For those of you interested, figure out a place to have it, and invite people to it. Risa has guidelines:

*No shoes

*No teeth

*No breeding outside your bloodline

Bye bye!

Evan, I give you permission to have some kind of party making fun of where I live. You have many things to make fun of. Here are some common themes for the desert: Tweaker Parties, Bro (wow I wonder if you know what a Bro is) Parties, Pretentious Spoiled Psuedo Intellectual Chain Smoking Pot Head Parties.
